I’m trying to find an MTIE tie here… Perhaps the following:



* an innovative way (a new math model) to tease correlation out of previously disparate data;
* innovation (securitizing previously un-securitized instruments) outpacing the policy that governs it (the SEC and Wall Street, as an entity); and
* the management of the people using this formula, despite the cautions that were initially offered when it was ‘released’.



It’s a surprisingly easy read, even if you don’t have a math background.
